Snail Question

i was looking in my fry tank (10gal no gravel, only filter) and i noticed a tiny snail in it. i do have 1 adult snail that i got probably about 6+ months ago.
this is not an apple snail, just about a 1 inch "spiral shelled" snail. how long does it take for snails to make a baby? there is only one baby.

Depends on species some can reproduce on there own. I myself have just found two but after some research I am willing to let them stay as they can be a help in the tank. If they get out of hand use a lettuce leave. Put it in with something to hold it down @ the bottom then put off light next day remove leave and snails will be on it. Keep running with the process unrolled there gone or u r happy with the amount.
