I read the title and went searching for what i'd add, and when i found them i read through to the end of the post to find you'd already found a fish Never mind, i was going to suggest Aphyocharax anisitsi (aka bloodfin tetras). I have a mini addiction to these at the moment

I bet you never knew that those tetras are temperate water fish and happily live in cool water.
