Looks great. Tempting me to try cherry shrimp again

i think the platinum tetras are Hemigrammus rodwayi after a google search or commonly known as gold tetra/platinum tetra....

 ive decided on the endlers i saw today that looked bright yellow with orange spots
and either the platinum tetras or the rasboras you mentioned. the lfs only had 7 of the endlers and said they would do all 7 for £10 so not a bad deal just a shame they only had 7...
but that gives me room for another 7 of something else :hey:

7 for £10 is great my lfs sell them for £2.50 each. I personal prefer the rasbora. IMO you could get away with 7 endlers, 6 rasbora and 6 tetras.

these are like the endlers i saw, named as red flare endlers -

I used ti have some of them and some normal endlers but gave them away because i wanted angels but wish i hadnt now  . They are nice but just make sure you don get over run with fry if you get mixed sexes because unlike guppies they dont eat there fry.

What female endlers? they look like female guppies but with clear fins.

just got back from lfs empty handed......
the endlers didnt look as good 2nd time round so i left them!
ive now seen glowlight danios and clown killifish available has anyone kept these? also the ember tetras looked quite nice but were quite expensive....

so back to square one im affraid unless i go for the platinum tetras :hyper:

the search is over ive gone for a group of 17 of the platinum/gold tetras that i saw the other day latin name is Hemigrammus rodwayi and here is a pic of them.....
http://www.seriouslyfish.com/profile.php?genus=Hemigrammus&species=rodwayi&id=522
ill get some pics of mine when they are completely settled :good:

clown killies are great and make a stunning addition.

i would have also mentioned mosquito fish, chilli rasbora and coffee bean rasbora, glass fish, FW bumblebee gobies, threadfin rainbowfish. there is also a dutch website that lists all pico/nano fish, but that address is on a different pc.

yeah i think im going to get a small group of the killis they will sort the top of the tank out nicely :good:
i saw lots of small rasboras but i think they were a bit too small and without getting about 40 wouldnt fill the tank. they also didnt look too nice, i know they would colour up but they just didnt do it for mr im affraid
im really happy with the gold tetras they look brilliant and maybe i could have got away with another 3 making 20 but im a little unsure of how big they will get as there are mixed views on this. could always get some more :hey:

No Worries, Maidenhead Aquatics usually have the best Clown Killies and Northampton and leicester usually have them near me.

Here is the site for nano/pico fish >> http://www.minifische.de/miniTopTen.html
It Lists them by species so very detailed
