Got an air pump running full pelt too.

Could add another if you think it necessary ?(every tank I own is 2nd hand and each one came with at least 1 air pump so I have loads LOL)

Really can't thank you lot enough, sometimes it's nice to get reassurance that I'm doing the right thing and sometimes a second, 3rd etc. set of ideas gives me hope that I'm not out of things to try. I'd nearly given up on this guy when he was on his side and now I am a lot more optimistic.

Sorry i cannot help much mate, i really have been very lucky with diesease's, but can help as much as i can, hopefully wilder and minx can help as they seem very clued up on these situation's......
No i would keep up water change's, just out of intrest maybe you said it, what temp is the tank at present?

hmm sound's fine to me, is he still listless now?is he upright?
also have you tried feeding him some deshelled pea's?

Not tried peas yet as he's not interested at all in food. Been trying garlic soaked pellets.

Still listless but upright today.

Least he's righted himself today, which is a good sign, still think its internal bacteria problem, remember if you do a water change, to re-dose the meds for the amount of water changed

Any signs of excess mucus on the skin?

Not today but there was when he was sideways. Physically he looks better today - fins not as clamped, he seems more aware of his surroundings too.

Well 40% waterchange and re-dose of meds done.

Think he is sulking as he is sitting under the filter.

Still upright and a bit more active. All I need now is for him to eat something!

Livelier this morning, still gasping a bit and not eaten yet but was swimming away from my hand rather than just sitting there. (I try to place food right under his nose)

So, signs of improvement. I'll update again tonight.

Glad to hear he's feeling better, dont worry too much about food yet, will take a while, you know how you dont feel like eating when you've had a upset stomache, he will feel the same.

No real change tonight, now hovering about an inch of the substrate more of the time rather than just sitting on it.
