It's likely that your water contains Chloramine, Chloramine has the molecular formula NH[sub]2[/sub]Cl,
'chloramine' is actually a generic term, covering all three of monochloramine NH[sub]2[/sub]Cl, dichloramine NHCl[sub]2[/sub], and nitrogen trichloride NCl[sub]3[/sub]. When a water company adds 'chloramine' it is likely adding a mixture of all three, though mono- will be the most common, and the tri the least common.
