theres a pair of the kind of sevs that mark has in his avatar in the shop where i got Bo, i have to say i was impressed

and another thing ill admit to.. i thought they were about the same size as convicts when they grew up so was pleasantly surprised
they are all stunning, so maybe .. just maybe i may have a browse through sev post and see whats involved

my little juvie w/c green is starting to colour up a bit now. took him a while it was hard finding food he would show any interest in but now ive got him feeding well hes starting to come along. note the cheeks turning turquoise along with the top of dorsal fin and anal/ventral fins getting nice reddish brown colour to them .

i may be getting two red faced gold sev's from my lfs next week they are 4" and 6" and showing great colouration but they are £60 is that good ?
they are gorgeous looking fish though

thats what im thinking too. if so as a guide i paid 17.95 for mine at 2 to 3 inches. i believe minxy paid around the same ?

Yep paid £18.99 for mine at around 2".

The place I got mine from had another in last week too, was sorely tempted, but figured he wouldnt stand a chance with my 3.

yeah they are li9ke yours but the spots are an the face and gill plates and a little past the gill plates too

sounds a tad expensive to me tbh. for 2 sevs. but if you want em bad enough youl pay the money lol . i paid a bit over the odds for my rottie but i wanted him so bad .

this is what they look like but the ones i want have a little less colour through travel stress probably he only got them in lastnight and he rang me first thing this morning telling me he got them in stock if i want to have a look.

lol thats what i thought. did you see the link to some of them sevs i put on last post? what do you think of them? if i get them then i will join this thread. i might be getting some more texas cichlids too home bred by my lfs owner also a personal friend and they have got great colouration too
