Hi, this is probably a hard qustion to answer but how much sand would i need for a 260 litre tank This is what it is for ill be using argos playsand.

buy 2 bags, that will be more than enough. you'll probably use a bag and a half.

I bought two bags and I've done two four footers with it; I do have a bit of gravel mixed in though.

get 3, shove one in the garage as a spare, you will probably lose a bit when doing a vac. saves another journey to top it up.

Yes, I wish I'd done that; I'll have to get my mum to take my up again, I'm not lugging it home on the bus

You can calculate it if you like, work out the volume of sand required (Length x Width x average sand height in Cm) / 1000 = volume of sand needed in litres, multiply by 1.6Kg dcm[sup]-3[/sup] to find out the mass you will require in Kg.
