Royal farlowella

His nose is normal now :p Is Superpet like a Canadian equivelent of petco? Do they treat their fish like ananimate objects too?
pretty much the same, yeah; they sell small pets and pet accesories. they are actually pretty well known for their fish department, as well as that of their sister store PJ's Pets. Both are sickly inundated with miniscule plastic cups of bettas all over the department, even lining the bookshelves with them somtimes when they are especially overstocked.

I went to check out their khuli loach selection and I was like 'do you have any khulis I can't see any in there' and the guy walks over to the tank and starts digging roughly in teh gravel for them throwing it all over the tank as well as throwing a few tiny khulis around in the process. Needless to say as bad as I felt, I didn't buy them.

On behalf of Pet Store employees, and Superpet in particular, not EVERY employee sucks. I really get fed up with the generalizations.

I have too much homework, I don't have time for a full-sized rant :S

One of the other people commenting works in a pet shop also , another person said their shop preferred to catch this particular type of fish by hand [ a compliment ].

Don't take it so personal.

A person could do a thousand things right , but who remembers , do one thing wrong , they don't forget it .

By the way , that fish cost me $20 , and I didn't complain , the girl was kind of well , let's say lacking expertise .[ I bought it for dwarfs].

In the old days the shop owner by me let me catch my own , it's a skill .

By the way , I'm a home improvement contractor a carpenter , people make generalizations about us all the time  , I have no problem sleeping at night .I do the right thing .

The thing that kills me is we went to another shop today and found a differnt type of farlowella and a whiptail catfish for $8 each instead of the $20 I spent on the guy in the pic .He [Dwarfs] was looking for either to eat algae in his oddball tank ....................nothing for months  , this is what cooler weather brings sometimes , more fish , not always for less money  .

The guy who fished out my tetras was extremely careful and courteous. It's the ones who have no clue and the cashiers at the one near my house that irk me!
