Looking to change the background on my 5footer,

The tank back has always been black since i bought it but i want to change it to a scenic background.
Whats the best way to remove the paint?

Reason for the change is i want to see more of my plecos and they arent shown off by a black background. Seeing my common plec today he has grown at least 3 inches since i last saw him!

Paint scraper and/or some cotton balls and white spirit is the way I'd go - that's what I used to clear up some overspray. Do you know what sort of paint was used originally?

I just (last week) removed the paint from the back of my aquarium. Suggestions on the forum were to use a blade you get inside a stanley knife. It worked a charm! As soon as i got a tiny bit up, it came off in strips as i was able to put the blade between the glass and the paint

Hardest bit was reaching behing the aquarium haha
