So I have a school of 8 red eyed tetras in my aquarium. I've only had them for 2 week. At first they were always together. However for the past week the same 1 has been swimming alone and hiding. Any ideas why this could be ?

Is he getting picked on by the other fish?
Does he eat ok?
Is there any noticeable physical abnormalities in him?

If your answers were
No
Yes
No

Then I'd say he's just a but weird. Nothing to worry about. :)

What are your water parameters?

it could suggest he is ill so it is best to check your water but they usually only shoal tightly when they feel threatened so he could be fine just a bit of a loner :)
