I need to get a whole bunch of plumbing bits within the next couple of days for both my main display tank and a new cube tank. There was someone I have used in the past that was brilliant for price and service but I cant remember for the life of me who it was. It was probably from a forum recommendation so if any of you guys and girls could suggest some good sites to buy bulkheads, elbows, valves and pipe from that would be great.

Thanks a lot Ben, I'm not sure if it was (looks familiar) but they have everything I need on there anyway so will use them :)

I found that an actual plumbing site was miles cheaper than using aquatic retailers. Try looking at www.colglo.co.uk. I bought a load of 15/20/25mm upvc pipe fittings from there. Buying the same stuff from an aquatic retailers would have run 2-3 times more expensive for the exact same stuff!

I've bought all mine from Pisces Engineering http://pisces-aqua.co.uk/; they have a minimum £75 + VAT order level; but the prices of the parts are good, and so is the service. I tend to use Astore, but they sell others.

ive always used just domestic plumbing bits from B&Q with no problem, just some prefer the propper stuff as teh domestic ones are supposidly coated in something for drinking water iirc
