Question About Blue Dwarf Gourami

How do you tell if it's a male or female?

Males are way more colorful and have a more pointed anal fin.

In other words, if you are calling it a 'blue' dwarf, it's almost definitely male

Can someone post a picture or give me a link to a female and a male Blue Dwarf Gourami? I plan to get some eventually and I want to make sure I'm getting the right sex, I don't trust my LFS.

this darn female is camera shy... might take me a while to snap her. Basically... she is the same as male BUT is slightly smaller, and the blue color is silver. The vertical stripes you see are a slightly bluer hue.

Ooh thats what I have a male blue dwarf Gourami..He looks identical to yours Maximumbob...He is very shy though..
