Once again thanks The-Wolf.........it isn't going as fast as I like, but time is limited............

There are still some quandries about how I strengthen the front joints....as I had to take the metal strapping off to get it apart..... .

I will just take my time and see.

I think that 55 gals would be about correct. If you do a cube of this size it comes out to 81 US Gallons, and this is less than a cube..........I will have to calculate it by more practical means (filling it with water and see how much I can get in  )....

thanks P, there are obviously some clever people out there................

.......did some more gluing to the "strengthening layer" that goes at the top last night......

......will be putting it in place tonight........then adding the remaining two front panes.........

..........hoping to start filling with water for a leak-check on Sunday............. :hey: :hey: :D

Hey
it's sunday evening
did you test it yet?

:S ........not yet........

......the top pieces of glass took longer to piece together than I thought they would (this is the bit that touches all round the top, sort of like a combined strengthening strips with a square hole in the middle for access to tank)......I found I hadn't cleaned a couple of bits that I needed so had to do those.

...however, top bit is now in and fitted and is curing/drying.

Front two panes will go on which will complete the glass going back together.........should be Monday or Tuesday this week.

Water test later in the week............... :D :D

Not sure yet.............still gotta get it so that I am happy with it and Mrs A is happy having it in the house.

Front two panes are now in place, just got to seal them in.........

.....then to clean up all seams/seals.......tidy it all, clean it.......and fill it to see if it holds water........
