Problem With My 4ft Tank Hood

Hi guys, i have a 4ft tank hood made from aluminium. I need to make access in the back for an external filter, whats the best way to do it? I dont want to leave sharp edges but im not great at DIY work >.>

just dont worry about it ill collect it, been looking for a 4ft for a while pmsl, cant help but you would be better in the diy section i think

IDK how you would go about doing that, but for sharp edges you could cut airline tubing length wise and use it to cove the sharp edges or you could try sanding them.
