Powerhead / Wave Maker

im wanting to add a wave maker to my juwel rio 240. but im not sure what lph to go for. the seller i've found on ebay says 5000lph but thats them n not you clever ppl that know about this sort of stuff. thanks for the replies in advance. i really appreciate it.

Is this the tank you have peacocks in??

They really don't like currents - A powerhead would stress them out.

I have a wave maker in my 250ltr they are powerful I put it on for 5 mins every 2 hours to stir up all the crap to keep tank clean.

A well placed filter outlet can do just as good a job.

so not to bother then as the fluval 305 is keeping it pretty clean and is placed just below the water level so i can see a flow. yeah it was going to be for the tank with the peacocks.
