Pop Eye

I posted a few weeks ago now about my golden wonder panchax having a huge eye. I've been doing regular water changes so the water is clean and also medicating the tank with melafix. I'm pretty sure that the eye is not used anymore since it's moved with the bulge behind it. She is still the same temperment wise though and still has a healthy appetite. I am just at a loss of what to do as it looks really horrible for her. Wish the eye could be taken out and then the hole stitched up.

Any help appreciated. x

Was that a result of pop eye? I have been surprised by my little lady as she is still the same fish i love and her appetite is just the same. Thank you for posting

i have a fish like that with a dead eye, hes been happy for years like this, even though it looks bad.
makes me love him even more cause i feel sorry for him

my baby was attacked by a tank mate and it became infected and was very popped out, however i have had other fish with pop eye for no reason that i could fathom, usually melfix does the trick, sorry it hasn't worked for you.

Well i'll keep using it for the rest of this week, as long as she isn't in any pain which she doesnt seem to be. Thank you for your speedy posts xx
