:kana: Hello there. A couple of days ago i bought 3 peppered corys, and when i looked at them in the bag i noticed that one was floating at the top of the water! he looked very lifeless and i feared he wouldn't make it  so i put him in a seperate tank and since then he seems to have improved  however he still has to put effort into keeping at the bottom of the tank. If he stops moving then he floats to the surface. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

it could be swim bladder disease. that's when fish lose balance and either sink or float to the durface and have trouble staying upright. maybe you should read up on it and see if the symptoms fit

The best thing to do is to get your money back. It's not worth it to cure a new fish. You have to pay for the meds and sometimes the cures for their diseases aren't available.
