They're all fine at the moment thanks - still no signs of malaise & still eating like machines hopefully they'll all carry on doing well

Just to update - all Zebras are still going strong, as are the other inhabitants of the tank, just waiting on my Maracyn to be delivered then will dose with that - the Zebra with the red patches still has them & I've noticed today that the smallest one has what looks like a white 'zit' on his bottom lip is this YET another problem? Getting fed up with the constant sicknesses now lol. If it is another problem, will Maracyn cure it? He appears to be getting bullied as well, so if it's not contagious would I be better off putting him in with my 2 small Goldfish for a bit until he's better as I've heard Zebras are ok in colder water?

The med might be to late for the fish with septicemia.
Spots on lips can be bactetrial aswell. Any redness to the spot on the lip.

No, nothing at all - it's just white (almost see-through). If I didn't have a heater guard I'd have thought he burnt himself! There's still no change in their behaviour though - if it wasn't for the red spots I wouldn't think there was any problem . Do you not reckon the Maracyn could kill whatever the problem is though?

Sorry - I'm generalising again lol - it's Maracyn Two that I've ordered! Just done a 30% water change, will do 20% daily until it turns up then . Thanks again - I'll keep you updated.

Just to update - finished the course of Maracyn Two 2 days ago -all inhabitants are still fine, but the 'symptoms' are still the same - same red pinpricks & the 1 zeb still has a spot on his lip lol. They all seem perfectly happy though so I think I'm just going to leave them alone for a bit & stop chucking meds at them . Thanks for all the help .

Do any of the fish flick and rub as red pin prick marks can also be parasites marks.
You could try maracyn one and two.
Sometimes one round not enough if its a really bad bacteria infection, No signs of any improvement.

Red spots on skin can be caused by:
Regarding the small red dot, small pinprick like haemorrhages (called petechiae) can be due to a local lesion, a generalised septicaemia or toxaemia caused by acute viral and bacterial infections.

None of them have improved as there's never been any deterioration to be honest so I'm at a loss - think I might just leave medicating yet again for a bit otherwise I'll end up with the equivalent of smackhead fish

Ok - the zebs are still fine, but 2 days ago I bought 2 red honey Gourami & now one of them is flicking like mad (no rubbing from any fish or flicking from any others) & is swimming with his nose right up in the air what's good for parasites? He also just keeps sitting on the sand & going for a swim every now & then, but none of the others appear affected in any way - I've still got the Waterlife Protozin, but I assume that's not going to be any use?

Can you post water stats please.
Any white spots on him the size of a grain of salt.
What does his gills look like.
Any excess mucas on the gills or body of the fish.
