I will see how these guys do so far then i will read and read before i buy more fish.

That's a good idea, but you can't put any more fish in that tank unless you do as suggested and return the angel.

That tank holds a total of 40 litres & has undergravel filtration.

I have the larger tower version.

What are the white blocks on the gravel?

This tank is not suitable for the angel fish you have but could be a decent home for the Betta with a few, carefully chosen, smaller fish once the tank is established - fully cycled.

Please return the angel -a shop shouldn't have sold you a Betta & angel to go into the same tank.

It will be weeks before the tank is ready for any more fish -plenty of time to read the links provided & decide what else you want .
If in doubt ask but don't just go to a shop and pick out any fish without getting an opinion from someone who isn't trying to sell you fish
