I've had aquariums before with no problem. I set up a new 10 gallon tank. 7 neon tetras, two corey catfish, two small angels. Water temp is 77. PH level is checked weekly, water change every week. Angels were always slow and hiding.one died last week, one died this week and one corey died. I changed from gravel to sand last week. The angels have a red spot under the skin on both sides. They didn't appear to eat. What am I doing wrong?

Did you cycle the aquarium? If not they are dying of ammonia or nitrite. Also you have 5x too many fishes in a 10 galllon.

While the angels might look small now they will get quite large - in a 10 they mght become stunted and die if not die sooner.

You have 2 posts and they're contradictory. In one, you leave out the information about the angels and corys. I know the tank size and conditions killed them, but they are part of the long term picture.
