They are cute fry, only one of my last 4 tetra fry made it and he turned out to be another red eyed tetra.

8 days old. Ugh theyre way too cute.

So found 2 more fry in the mom's tank. That brought total number of fry found to 40, but 2 have not made it (one was a cull, other died naturally).

I have 38 in the fry grow out.

Scooped some out for better viewing and update. The little blond plain one is interesting.

I had a female blue mickey mouse breed with a red wag male the male fry once about 6 months old where red/dark orange with wag tails and a slight mickey mouse pattern near the tail while the females where pale orange with almost a blue sheen to them and black tails with a slight mickey mouse pattern.

Pulled one of the blond larger fry for a photo. This one is one of my larger fry and the colours are quite neat. Itll be nice to see how the blond ones develop.

See that little black stripe on it mine had that as well when they where about that size and some still had it when I sold them does it mean anything?

Just natural wild type patterns showing through. Some of mine had them, some didnt in the past. My first batch of babies were really dark based colour. The stripes stayed until about 5-6 months old and faded under their blue mickey mouse pattern.

18 days old now!

Took out my son's critter keeper container for some close photos and to get a good look at their development. The larger ones may start getting their iridescent blue colouring soon as some iridescence is already starting to show on the sides of the largest ones.

And one of the smaller ones, a darker individual with some interesting markings on the tail and mouth. Almost like a wag, but not complete black fins lol he looks like an angry little dude.
