Planned big tank maintenance but found fry 😬

Hello I'm new here. I joined to try and get some advice on what to do because of this conundrum I am facing today.

I have a 55 litre tank home to sterbai cories and green raspboras and Gary the nerite snail.

I had planned to do a big clean today starting with sorting the floating plants. I grabbed some tank water in my jug and fished out a tiny little raspbora fry! I've not had much luck raising sterbai cories so I don't want to try to raise this one either. But the thought of putting it back in bothers me with its hungry parents.

I've got alot of overgrown sessilifora and moss which is probably where there are more fry hiding.

What do I do?

Forgot to add that I don't have another tank to set up for this nor the desire to do so. There is another 55 litre tank in the house home to 1 betta and nerite snails. It's got lots of hiding places but if it survived, it might get big enough for the betta to see it and chase it.

It sounds like the little feller is prey whichever tank it goes in. All you can do, if you don't want to try to raise the fry, is just to ensure it has plenty of hiding places and keep your other fish well fed. Good luck, little feller!

Yeh you're right. I'm pleased both species are comfortable and happy enough to spawn in my tank but it's like every other day with the cories.

I've tried raising cory fry in a little hatchery box inside the tank but I don't think enough tank water was circulating through and it was getting polluted by food.

I have powder food for fry but I think they will survive better in amongst the detritus on the plants but then there's predators!

I'm not new to this hobby but I dislike the feelings of conundrums like this. Poor little dudes.
