Hey guys,
I need a little advice about my 7gal Hexagon tank, what plants would suit it. It has a Fluval 1plus filter, Visitherm 10w heater and a 14w Aquaglow light. The fish in the tank are one x-ray tetra, one pencilfish, and one khuli loach. My only problem is that i have MTS snails and i'm not sure if it was them or the apple snail i had that was stopping the plants from growing.

Can anyone suggest any hardy plants?

Any help will be gratefully received.

Thankies

You have very low light for that size tank (WPG rule is non applicable for nano tanks)

Therefore Im afraid you will be limited plant wise but not to fear.

There is a pinned thread on easy plants I think.

Anubias - need attaching to wood/rock.
Microsorum (Ferns) - need attaching to wood/rock .
Cabomba
Egeria
Crypts
Vallisinera

and many others should be suitable but with that lighting Im not overly sure as I am by no means experienced with Nanos.

Hey thanks for the help, the light seems efficient, i've just realised that i am guna need a loach to take care of my snail problem, which should give the java fern i bought on bogwood a chance. I also bought moss... that ok?
