Planning new tank

Hello,
I’m planning a future tank which I’d like to house
2 long finned bristlenose, 6 kuhli Loach, 10 normans lamp eye killifish and a Betta.
Is a 40 gallon big enough?
I’ve never had killifish or loaches before so tips and tricks would be appreciated.

I fear you're planning a couple of tanks.
Norman's lampeye likes cooler water, and does best under 24 degrees. Hobby Bettas like 26 and up. Kuhli loaches sometimes annoy slow moving Bettas with their frantic ways, but you often don't see them during the day, so they might be okay in a 40 gallon.

Bristlenoses get along well, but if the two are a pair, they breed like guppies.
