Hello all, just a brief introduction since I'm new here. I was a member of another forum that I have not been active on and recently discovered I no longer had access when I stumbled across this group so here I am.
I have been in the aquarium hobby for about 9 years after starting with, you guessed it, a betta, that ironically my wife wanted. Since then I have had several different fish and tanks. At one time I had 9 tanks running. Honestly I needed to downsize for several reasons. My wife and I discovered in July of 2023 that we had a little one on the way so I had to downsize to make space and also to get back into the fun of the hobby. Since then I am down to a single 40 gallon breeder that I am trying to get back into keeping running efficiently since my daughter is now 2 and enjoys going to the petstore with me.
Obligatory stocking list of my 40 gallon includes the following...
6 Sterbai Corydoras
6 Checker Barbs
10 Ember Tetras
1 Albino Bristlenose Pleco
1 random blue and black platy
