"Pin Me! Pin Me!"

I was wondering if this could be pinned. It's a link that Bronzecat put on a while ago, to an article in PFK about the illegal importation of fish (mainly Bettas) into the UK.

There are alot of people in the Betta section that look at Bettas on Aquabid and are unaware that it is illegal to import them without the correct paperwork and licences into the UK.

I have had a couple of people tell me that my monthly guppy photo competition should be pinned so It stops it from getting lot with the other posts!

It has had almost 500 veiws in 3 days and coming up to 50 posts!

Oh the link is in my sig!

For the betta forums, these two articles on common diseases would be great to be pinned:
Constipated Information and Symptoms
http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=301147

Swim Bladder Disorder
http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=301144

Most common asked for things. I also have written an article that adapt now and then and wrote as complete guide for betta beginners with what I hope is most things in one place and tried to be constructive and unopinised..I am just sticking it out there and please forgive if wrong -_- Havent written article before ;)

http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/285369-molly-full-cycle/

oldman47 made this a while back it is better than any of the pinned topics,i just answerd 2 questions and if this was pinned people would have been able to find it on there own please pin this is a need for the livebearers section

Nice try Hughessomefish. You don't kiss up near as well as the guys at work though. I figured between the 5teady post and the guppy post there were enough in that section already. My post was to have been a joint effort with about 5 other members who each had their own pictures of other livebearers at different points in the cycle but they never came through. If we had that giant post with 4 or 5 different species, it would easily be a thread to replace the others that already exist.

Shame on your mollys progress not being pinned,i reckon it was fab! :good:

Here's another one that is full of good info and should be in the characins part etc, where ludwig decribes an article on breeding danios and egg scatterers :good:

i saw this thread and thought about a post I had wrote a few weeks ago.

Regard ACF and Adf care

not many people on this forum keep this critters, especially ACF. therefore there is a limited amount of knowledge and help out there. I would love to keep people who are interested in these species in this forum...so I want to increase available info and traffic about them.

i typed up this: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/329565-african-clawed-frogs-and-african-dwarf-frogs/
and I am currently keeping a journal about my adventures in breeding african clawed frogs.

I am not saying I expect to be pinned, but maybe an updated pin by a mod about care for ACF should be composed - - something to make it easier for people considering keeping aquatic frogs. they really are a joy to keep and unfortunately I don't think people are exposed to the possibility enough. (even though anyone who has posted a stocking list lately will tell you I push for frogs!

Don't know....just a thought :D
