Pics Of My New Delhezi's!

other tankmates that you could add are

blue acaras
rainbow cichlids(multispinosa)
festivums
senegal bichirs
ornate bichir

i have kept the above with my delhezi

you are basically looking for fish that arent too aggressive, that dont suck the slime coating off the bichir(no plecs or semiprochilodis) and that the delhezi cant eat.mine is in with a senegal, ornate and an african pike(hepsetus odoe)all is well at the minute.i think you need to make a full tank decision and add all your fish soon so they can all get used to each other and grow with each other.delhezis are a lovely looking and usually a very active bichir.they arent aggressive generally but, they may(or may not)eat smaller fish.my 8-9 inch senegal caught and ate a krib so i would suggest no fish(when bichirs are full grown)that would be less than 4 inches.hope this helps mark :good:

Thanks for that, I'm having trouble trying to get them to eat.

Theres 2 that hide more then the others so i carnt get food to them.

Oh i used the string method about an hour ago (dont know if you
read that bit lol) And got one of them to eat some prawn.
So hopefully he'll know from now on that its food!

How do they know to eat the pellets?
Do you put them in overnight or something
like that?

Thanks for all this info :good:

Oh and for more tankmates i was thinking
a deep-bodied mid dweller,
some red hooks or alike.

Oh and i wanna get some butterfly
fish too lol

Anyone had any experience keeping
African Butterfly fish?

Would like to get some on
Monday :)

Thanks in advance :good:
