What kind is a Golden Snail? One of my new snails looks a lot like him--dark on the last swirls too. He was sold as a mystery; I decided that he's an apple--still wondering if I got it right.

But I like your new snail. I went back to get another and they were sold out. I've got good taste.

So here are my new snails. What are they: the b kind or the c kind

I Have two and they both have shells are about 2 " long. Not sure how old they are!

[My Golden Snail laying her eggs

This is her second cluster within six days.

In the second photo you can see a eggs sliding on her body to the cluster. You can see papa snail below left in the water. You can see the cluster laid six days ago on the top center.

Hey, CoryDoc, my snails just laid a cluster this week also. We are going to be parents.

I still don't know which species my Apples are though. Guess I will test them on some expendable plants some day.

Hi jollysue,

Your snails are brigs, the good non plant munching ones. I have a pink one just like that, Cannas don't have a pointed bit to their shell they are more even on both sides.

Would you consider sharing some of your brigs with me someday? I have plants I don't want to feed to the unknown apple snail at the LFS.

Hey nino! It would be my pleasure. I actually got the two I have from the local PetSmart. I am pretty surprised that they are brigs. I am also awaiting the end of football season for Adistar to send me a box (about 9) of his. If he delays much longer he will have to ship Express with a heat pad. Hint hint
