What is the fish behind the Ctenopoma Acutirostre?

Looks like a Goby, id say its a young Dormitator goby, probably maculatus.

Okay, now I'm one step away from getting the polly. It'll be this Sunday!

Besides my minimum decor of anubiased wood, I wonder if I should put another plant in that grows in dim light. I think either anacharis or hornwort would be best. But can they grow in dim light?

Hornwort grows best in medium intensity lighting. I have never kept it in low lighting, so I wouldn't know if it would live in your tank. Anacharis should be okay in your tank. I have mine in a dimly lit tank.

What's wrong with a Ctenopoma acutirostre itself? I had one, it was very personable. Heck, obviously they can be in the same tank with the snakehead, have both.

South american leaf fish grow small at 4inches long so can fit in a 30gal and are predatory;

wrong fish. Its a leopard bushfish or the latin name on previous post Ctenopa or whatever. good fish to have in oddball community.. peaceful bar with small fish
