Outdoor pond designs

Hi.
Im going to build a pond in my garden this year,and was wondering if there are any good websites with pictures of pond designs and tips please.

I don't know of any sights but I do know a bit about them.

1. if you have a winter where you are you need to have your pond deep enought that the temperature in the bottom foot of it never dips below 4 degrees centigrade or 40 degrees ferenhite.

2. try to keep extensions off of the edge of the main body rounded to promote water flow.

3. if it gets hot where you are have floating plant cover and or shade trees.

4 prepair for predators.

5 if you want koi you need a minimum of 1000 gallons and only one koi per 200 gallons

but sound advice ,other than that id do a google search for "pond designs" see what comes up or look round the forum at OPs ponds
