I truly hope that bonsai kitten is a joke. Unfortunately, with all the sickos in the world, I'm sure stuff like this really does happen though.

The point of the picture is not supposed to be a joke, but to raise the issue that people don't care about goldfish because they are not fluffy and hugable, and if it were a kitten it would be an entirely differnt situation- the morality of placing a kitten in a tiny bowl is the same reality and issue for the goldfish....
