Wow his water is on par as prices of petrol in the UK, when i had my 5/2/2ft...u used to waterchange three times a week, 300 litres, it was a 566litre, so each week i would change 900litres not forgetting at the same time i had 2ft/3ft and 4fts, seven tanks in total prrforming same to each,.. Never was my bill anywhere near that, otherwise my missus would have chopped my breeding tube off herself..

It costs £50 on the water bill every time he does a water change, and things are really tight at the moment for them, not so much with baby stuff etc, they have all that already, just with another mouth to feed its gonna be a struggle, i love it and so does he, but needs must

I'm sorry but some one is telling you lies here! It does not cost that much, the average metered water bill in England is £325 per annum based on a family of four!

Also I am in the process of buying a 6 footer and will be paying in the region of £300-£400 and with that I would expect at least one external!
Was gutted missed a right bargain on Ebay at the weekend....6x2x2, 2x externals 2x heaters + fish that I could have sold for around £100 went for £312 and I'm in London!

Nice tank but way over priced.... I would offer £100 for it if it was closer.

do you live in burnley? no, every meter is different, thats what i was told and thats what i believe, the tank did come with an external..

anyway hes ended the listing, i have a feeling hes decided he wants to keep it.

I just dont understand why your taking it so personal? were all saying are bills for the year are around 300 or so quid, that would have cost me around 450-500 quid a week to change my water, no way,somethings very wrong there, either his water companys sending him someone elses bill or hes got a leak....oh well im wasting my time posting this really....I bet even T1KARMANN with his 1000 gallon< 3785 litre tank dont pay that much

If you believe his water change to cost £50 then I think u are very naive. An average bathtub is between 200-300 litres of water so even if he did a 100% water change that would be about 5-8 baths. If this were true id expect this household not to have very good hygiene.

i know no one was having a go, and yes i understand we all love a good discussion, me as much as anyone, but to me it reraaaaly didnt seem like a discussion, more like a
