Oh Come On! What Royaly Is This Fish?

Hey all,

Just trying to I'd, my TINY! Royal panaque.
I don't know if it's wild or farmed, so have no location details either.

Any ideas?
My thoughts are L191, dull eyed royal panaque?

I would say L190 by looks of it.

I have a L191 pleco, heres a pic of him...

i agree, this is my L191, definitely darker eyes than yours, so id say yours is 190.

It's not L191 because it has red eyes and not green. I'm 99% certain it's Panaque nigrolineatus aka L190, and a picture of it's mouth and teeth would confirm it.

This might be out of topic but, where do you guys get the code from? such as L191 or L190 etc

The L-number is an unscientific classification system, based mainly on the appearance and collection point of various species. You can find a fairly comprehensive listing at planetcatfish.com for reference.
