This tank is 2 and a half foot long x 2 foot highx 1foot

THIS Tank is gonna go through a proper no fish cycle ( learn by mistakes)

I was looking to buy a fluval internal, but its higher than my other tank.

This is going to b a Angel fish tank so far and not sure on how many i could put in once all cycled etc

Thanks

Zoe

You couldn't really put any Angelfish in there long-term as they get far too big. 3 Foot is the minimum really for the first 12 months of their lives but after that they ideally need at least a 4 foot.

omg that second pict, you let that little kid be there with all those wires hanging down there!

That tank will be fine for angels. With 24" of water depth in a 37 gallon tank it would actually be ideal for a pair as the centerpiece, with some corys, a bristlenose or other small plec, and perhaps a few colorful livebearers to round it out.

I would start with 6 juvie angels, this is something that you will want to talk over with your lfs, as you will need to trade in the unpaired four angels in about 6 months. With six angels you have a 96.9% chance of getting a pair. You can add the group of corys with the angels as well as the small plec. When you trade in the four remaining angels you can consider adding some livebearers, or perhaps a few dwarf cichlids.

As was mentioned, you really should do something about those wires. If you could route them to the cabinet beneath the tank you could also add a canister filter, which IMO are the way to go for a show tank of that size.

Very nice tank for free!

I notice this website is bad for people judging other people.

People just sorto assume things without thinking

I am no expert but I thought thats a nice tank for show angel fish.

I agree with your other comment, alot of people assume and judge based on other peoples "post count" and how long they been a member for! Not fair really.

For 2 fully grown angels, allowing plenty of swimming? I'm not saying I disagree because you have more expereience with them than I do and your renowned for your advice, but I was always under the idea that would need at least 4 foot minimum to allow enough swimming room. We have 6 display Altum's in own 6 foot tank at work and it looks just right. I know Altums will be different to what OP is getting but surely 2.5 foot is too small for fully grown angels with enough swim room?

Nice tank i think it would look nice with some 2-4 angles, a group of neons and some german blue rams... with sand aswell... Good look with the new tank
