I bought a large bottle (20 quid) of TPN+ from Aquaessentials last week and it hasnt arrived (in the meantime my plants arent looking great). So i emailed and they said it had been posted by standard 2nd class, and to wait.
Well actually I dont think thats on! £20 to me is a fair bit of money at the moment. I bought a big bottle to save in the long run, and in fact its not arrived at all!! So now i need to find some somewhere else, who does insure their parcels, and scrimp all week.
The least they could have done is stick recorded delivery on it :shout:

(sorry rant over)

Im waiting for a delivery of 3 Badis this morning - it stated before 1pm but I am getting so anxious eeeeeee! I mean I got this from ebay because they are that rare but I miss getting fish from a shop :( I know ebay and amazon are usually reliable but there is a big aspect of faith in all of it...... I hope you get sorted :) I know the feeling of the value of £20 believe me, I know exactly what its like.

Unusual for AE, they usually post same day if not next day and Ive never had a problem with a delivery from them at all. Have you contacted your sorting office, they may have it there?

ordered about 20 times from AE, never had a problem.

if i order on say a monday, the parcel will be with me on weds morning. thats with the standard delivery.
im sure richard can explain if you email him nicely and talk it over.

if they stuck recorded delivery on it, the postage would've been considerably more costly and they would've passed that cost onto you.

yeah and considering 1st class post is 'technically' 14days (16 including weekend), 2nd class can sometimes (rarely now) take a loooong time!

 yeah tell me about it :grr:

It was posted on the 22nd, so hes done his bit, just a bit miffed that recorded delivery wasnt even an option. If i send anything worth over £5 i use recorded, as so much mail 'gets lost' these days....

I find it's always worth paying that extra £2 for next day delivery.

If I really want something fast I always go for recorded delivery.
Don't bother with 2nd class it takes to long.
