Hi,

Unfortunately the GLO light ballast I bought a few months ago has became faulty. For whatever reason the bulbs are no longer emitting any light. They did come on twice since the problem occurred suggesting its not the bulbs at fault. (I am about to phone the shop I ordered from and hope for a replacement).

Anyway the problem is my tank is in my loft conversion with no natural light coming in and with no lights working on the tank, it is sitting in darkness.

Will this effect the fish in any way?

Any solutions?

I only have a couple of plants so im not too worried about replacing them (worst case scenario)

Thanks for any help in advance :)

It won't affect your fish, no.

As Fluttermoth says, your fish will be fine, they can see perfectly well in the dark. We only use light so we can see them, and for plants to grow.

Should make a thread about these GLO ballasts. Mine went pop after 2 weeks for no reason.
