Newbie, filter help please

Hi, I have a 60litre tropical tank with guppies and tetras, I have a bluwave 03 filter, all has been going well with the tank, but tonight the filter seems louder than normal and is pumping out loads of small bubbles, is there something wrong with the filter?

Is there an airstone near the intake of the filter? If so, move the stone away from the intake.

I did have an air stone in front of the filter but moved it to the other side of the tank last night. There isn't anything in front of the filter now

There is either air in the filter or the impellor has issues. Take the filter apart, clean the filter materials in a bucket of tank water and re-use them. Wash the filter case and motor under tap water. Reassemble, fill the filter with tank water and see if it works.
