New Tank?

i currently have a 60L tank which full now but not sure whether to upgrade to a bigger tank 200+L or just get a smaller tank maybe for a betta or something (biorb life 30).
just wondering what you guys think i should get?

Upgrading the tank to larger will be more expensive, but much more rewarding for your fish and yourself. Besides, you can use the old tank for the betta - they really do thrive great in real aquariums, and can be quite active in the right environment.

It depends what fish you want.

I bought a 60l and decided i wanted alot more fish so a month later i bought a 120l!

Like a lot of others, i have been guilty of having to re buy larger tanks (ohh yes deffo way more than just once )

Get the biggest you can afford/manage, that's my best suggestion

Then watch the addiction grow n grow hehe

ps: yeah heck, use that 60l for a betta tank, give it/them a nice roomy living space instead of these tiny tubs (sorry, i know it's not pc to criticise tank sizes but for me some small tanks should be banned . )

pps: got my mom a 120L , soon after a rio 240, now she's thinking of a 6x2x2, though she can easilly have a 10x4x4 or larger (pattern emerging here ) Addiction

We just upgraded (as in we bought and set it up today ) from a 50L to a 125L. Having set it up I am glad we didn't go larger since it would be too much of a difference when it comes to the weekly maintenance. It is more than double the sixe after all!

One we move to a bigger place I imagine we will move up to a 200L, but for now our Fluval Roma 125 is perfect.

I'm sure there will be other stores offering similar or better offers, but I found www.seapets.co.uk was a useful site to find a ballpark good tank deal. I then took printouts of the offer that interested me most and my LFS agreed to price-match the deal, which meant they get the business and if things go wrong, I don't have far to go to get things resolved.

Juwel Rios were good value when I looked and bought, but they've gone up a bit since (in line with Juwel's instruction to increase RRP). Fluval Romas look a good buy with the free cabinet
