The cycle is still progressing I see, keep up the patience it's worth it in the long term. once you've got your ammonia down to zero for the first time you'll see things start speeding up.

It will do and can occasionally stall on the last 1ppm but its a matter of waiting but like I said once you get to the stage whwere you need to top up the ammonia once it has reached 0-0.5ppm things will seem to get a little quicker but each tank varies![]()
It looks like you may be starting to see a move with the nitrite eaters Susan. Even though you can't measure the nitrite drop the nitrate move would mean some nitrites are being consumed. It could just be a testing anomaly but it has some promise.
