New Stocking Ideas?

hi
i have a rio240 tank with the internal filter removed and a tetra ex1200 external filter fitted
this has been my community tank and running for about 8 months with
sand substrate and about 25 kilo of ocean rocks
I have now sold all my community fish and am looking to stock with some cichlids of some kind
i would like some largeish bright coloured fish with some smaller
i did look at blue dolphins or servirums but think they may outgrow my tank
has anyone got any suggestions

In a 240l aquarium anything 7 inches and below would work. I would do a male female pair of convict cichlids and watch the colony grow!

Was thinking mayby 2 plecs and mayby 3 blood parrots and a small group of tiger barbs
