New Member, New Tank, New Hobby, New Questions!

I have 2 pumbs and a bubble curtain in my 240 litre tank and they do such a great job keeping all my fish alive and happy. I have 7 plecos, they do good jobs also at cleaning the alga off the glass...I love plecos.

This is only going by my experience, but i would stay away from those air curtains, i had one and love the look it created but found it was not essential to have it as my filter is doing a good job of agetating the water as it is.

It was when i came back from work one day as i had left the air ump pumping away and found i had roughly a gallon less water in my tank  i had not even realised it had come out until i went to change the speed the bubbles were coming out and i got a nasty shock from it.

So if your current filter is doing a good job of at least breaking the surface of the water, unless you find it an absolute must then i say stay away from the #41#### things.

Unless someone can tell me otherwise?

this is another 2 year old thread- if you have questions that you can't find an answer to it is probably better to start a new thread.
