Have set up a new tank and planted it today , not happy with the planting at the moment as half the plants i bought on line arrived rotten and mushy but have emailed the seller so will see what happens.

You are right.  The tall spiky plant at the back, along with the light and dark leafed one in front of it are not aquatic plants.  Another one of the problems with buying "multi buys" from online traders
