Well it's not a new tank for me but I'm revamping it so Sir Puddles can move in sometime soon.

I'm sure must of you will remember it looking like this..

from the original build thread.. <a href="http://www.fishforums.net/content-page/662...nation/page/80/" target="_blank">http://www.fishforums.net/content-page/662...nation/page/80/</a>

and then it moved on to something more like this...

but right at this minute it's completely empty and drained.

tonight I have cut out the old weir and have removed the current pipework.

Plan is to drill out the hole to take 50mm pipework and build a new double skin weir around the new hole.

This is all in aid so it can handy a faster flowrate. At the moment the tank struggles to handle with 5000lph, ideally I'll be upping the pump eventually to deal with sir puddles demanding waste issues.

Sir Puddles himself...

Yep all my fish are now sold, I'm just about to drop the megalodoras at the courier depot and my last 2 are being picked up friday.

Yer moving puddles will be great fun. Hopefully the move wont shock him too much!

It's a 60x32x24inches, about 200 gallons and 900 odd litres.

Sir Puddles, what is he, looks like some kinda lung fish?

you dont know who Sir Puddles is?!?

And electric eel, haha. :good:

Will be more pics over the weekend when I clean it up, and if my drill bits come I'll re drill the hole over the weekend.

Need to design the sump layout too.

I'll try and get some pics or vids of puddles too.

Maybe Lady Electra will make an appearance too.

King Leccy can be quite shy and until it's feeding time he tends to hide. When he does feed it's a snatch and run situation. Maybe I'll take a quick vid of him.

Check back later today when stage 1 of new tank-take 2 will be complete!

ok so today i set about cleaning the tank while I'm waiting for the drill bit, and my wages to buy the new pipework!
