That is lovely fish you have there

Iv never really been interested in them until a week or so ago. Since then iv been researching them. I did have 3 red dragon flowerhorns at around 6-7 inches each. They came with a tank I bought but I sold them on as the tank was too small for them and they should never of been in there in the 1st place IMO.

So....

....I just earlier today took delivery of a tiny 1.5 - 2 inch Blue Thai Silk flowerhorn nothing at all like yours but hopefully he/she will be one day. I'm not sure how you tell the sex of a flowerhorn? Especially when they are as tiny as mine.

Mine is in 40 gal at the moment until it grows a little and then he/she will go in my Rio 400 with my Ornate. The bichir is only around 5 inches but i don't want to chance them together yet in case the FH gets eaten

yes believe it or not there is a specialist food product by a company called oceanfree XO that is directed at the growth of the fishes kok, called humpyhead.... its mainly down to genetics but it can help a bit. they also do starry food for the sparkles and red food for the red so ive ordered a tub of each and ill mix them together to give him his staple diet.
