Hello so I was in PetSmart today and they were giving away ādeformedā bettas as they couldnāt sell them. (Kinda odd as most of them looked fine) however there were 2 that stood out and were really pretty however they both have some problems. One of them Iām fairly sure has swim bladder disease or similar (the blue guy). Heās still a lot and floats really badly to the top on his side. His sides and belly are also VERY bloated. Heās still active tho. The red one swims well however I noticed his back is crooked to 1 side. Itās pretty bad. Got the red one in my 10 gal with some guppies and the blue one in a 2.5 gal with shrimp. I was wondering if anyone could suggest what I should do. Will just leaving them be be enough for them to recover. My only guess so far is that they were fed too much and water quality was bad in the tubs so they developed internal problems. Iāve kept a couple bettas in the past so know the basics but havenāt had this problem before. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
