My Platy Fish Is Pregnant Or Not?

i attached my platy fish photo. i want to know that is she pregnat or her belly is swelling because of over eating? i f she is pregnant after how much time later i put her in breeding box

She probably is pregnant, but don't put her in a breeder box. She'll be better left in the main tank.

Breeder boxes are too small. Put lots of plants in the tank so the babies have plenty of hiding places

I started out with 2 females and a male platy, with in 6 weeks I had 5 babies swimming around, of course I couldn't house 7 platties in a 5.5 gallon so I took 3 back to the pet store. My female looked exactly like this right before she had her babies.
