Hi, yesterday I bought new oscar for my old tank and today I noticed he/she is not that energetic nd seems stressed and laying down in the bottom. Also he/she not taking any feed.
Is there any issue with it? Thanks

Oscars sulk when moved and big fish sulk more than baby fish. Sometimes they are fine after a few days, other times they sulk for weeks.

Check the water quality for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH and temperature.

Put some substrate in the tank. You don't need much but you need to cover the base so the fish can't see its reflection.

Put some floating plants in the tank or turn the light down or off so it's not as bright.

Give the fish a chance to settle in.

Thanks. I fed him/her some bloodworms and he/she started taking it and seems fine now… I’m planning to setup live plants on it.

They tend to dig up plants so see how the fish goes with plants. If it doesn't dig them u that is great. If it does dig, then most of the plants will end up floating around the tank :)
