My First Test Results

Basically, You need to be adding 5ppm of ammonia. You test every 24 hours, IF ammonis is 0ppm you add on the 24 hour mark. It could take weeks but with mature media it should be quick. If like harlequin thinks that you've been accelerated into the nitrite spike, 5ppm of ammonia should process in 24 hours and you test for nitrites to see if they cycle all the nitrite too.

You added the ammonia at 9am? so you test at 9am and dose if necessary

I'd do them all so we have a good base to go from. Once things progress then you won't have to. best to see what the results bring before recommending a course of action. With the biomature added today then we should have a clearer picture of what's happening but best to wait until you have tomorrows test results first.

Thanks lads i appreciate the help , Um well today i buggered up i did a test this morning at 9am and added fish food after my first results.. then at 5 i did a test got the results and at 6 i added biomature.

I would recommend making a new 'journal' to keep all your results in order of time as well as your tap water results, tank size, what heater, filter, what tempterature..everything but not in one big paragraph! It makes it much easier for us to help you
