My pictus catfish snapped his whisker, it's still hanging on but snapped in half or at least it was when I had to leave for work, but where it snapped their is a white cloudyness? Is this an infection! I really just have no idea what to do? Is he gonna be okay and if it is an infection, how should I go about treating it? I'm worried!! He's my baby and I've had him for about 4 years!! He's in a 30 gallon (which I know is too small) with a sun catfish and an angel fish!

Snapped whiskars can grow back, One of my pictus (dimwit) is forever breaking his, but he is also missing part of his top lip. Do some extra water changes to keep the water really clean while it heals, they are tough little fish, so long as the water is clean he should be ok.

Ok, I'll do that! and thank you! He is a very tough guy! & his behavior hasn't seemed to change at all! So I take that as a good sign!
