my brother keeps turning of the filter when it makes noise for a period of 8 hours i had to use a differnt filter fo today cause he wanted to sleep he dont understand why its so bad and often turns of the oxygen

What type of filter is it.
Don't turn the filter off as you will lose benefical bacteria after do many hours.
